ARIE-L -- Discussion of the Ariel Document Transmission System
About ARIE-L	English (USA)
ARIE-L is an electronic discussion group supporting use of the Ariel document transmission system. Ariel software is widely used by libraries worldwide to facilitate resource sharing and interlibrary loan activities by transmitting documents over the internet. Originally developed in the early 1990's by the Research Libraries Group, Ariel is now distributed by Infotrieve, Inc. Additional information about Ariel can be found at the Ariel Information Center and on ShareILL. Scanner recommendations are available here. Archives of past messages sent to the mailing list are available at the Mail Archive (public and easily searched) and on the list mail server (password protected and harder to search but goes back to 1998).

Using ARIE-L
To post a message to all the list members, send email to arie-l@u.washington.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to ARIE-L
Subscribe to ARIE-L by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. UW community: If you have a computer account at the University of Washington, and you intend to subscribe to this list, change something about the subscription you already have, or access private list archives, please log in first. Once you have logged in, this page will automatically fill in your email address.
