Bitter Old Hags and Grumpy Old Fags (BOHGOF) is a Registered Student Organization of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, questioning, and allied graduate and professional students at the University of Washington that began several years ago and currently has well over 100 members. The organization was originally created as a support group for graduate students and as a way to become officially recognized by the University but has since evolved into a primarily social group (though the 'support' aspect is still intact...!). We have occasional happy hours at local bars or cafes, parties and other fun/strange activities. All members can and should feel free to plan an event. There is no "social chair" so activities only happen because you make them happen:) BOHGOF is primarily a group for graduate students UW but is open to *all* members of the UW community: faculty, staff, alumni, postbacs, postdocs. This BOHGOF email distribution list is the main way that the members keep in contact with each other. Since all of our members are at various levels of being "out" the list members names are kept confidential and will not be distributed. **Additionally, please note that postings can ONLY be made by email addresses that are registered with mailman.** To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the BOHGOF Archives. Using BOHGOF
To post a message to all the list members, send email to bohgof@u.washington.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to BOHGOF
Subscribe to BOHGOF by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. UW community: If you have a computer account at the University of Washington, and you intend to subscribe to this list, change something about the subscription you already have, or access private list archives, please log in first. Once you have logged in, this page will automatically fill in your email address.
