In my configuration settings, the each map layer holds information for 365 days and the grid size is 48 rows and 52 columns. In the binary output, taking for example, Map.1.Soil.Moist.bin, the content consists of moisture values that are within the grid size of 48 rows and 52 columns. My question is from this binary file, how do I interpret this and generate the individual daily map text files, in which there will be expectedly a total of 365 files (days). I appreciate any help if possible and please let me know if more clarification is needed. In GIS I believe you could export each band as an ascii text file. Hope that is helpful.
