Subject: [ukc-polo] NW polo tournament; please respond
Hi All,
I got a lead for a pool in Kirkland over the January
22/23 weekend. I have it tentatively reserved for that
weekend for a NW polo tournament. I am hoping that if
the Vancouver brings down a team, Seattle fields a
team, and Gig Harbor, I can convince California and
some people from Alberta to join us for a fun filled
weekend. I need to know who can play so I can get some
numbers down and go ahead and reserve the pool and
make a deposit. We are looking at about $30/person for
the entire weekend for an indoor heated pool if we can
get 25 people in total.
I need to let the pool people know in about a week so
please respond to me asap. Also, if there are people
in your clubs who might want to make the trip to
Settle, please foward this note to them.
This would be a great opportunity for those who have
never played in semi-organized tournament to get their
feet wet and perhaps move on to Nationals next June in
Durham, NH.
Thanks,
--TC
