Sounds interesting. Thanks for thinking about us.
With the support of a store and possible polo boats available we may be able to keep things going.
But for me I the commute would be worse.
We have excellent lights in Kirkland. Scott has one goal built and if goals were the reason we weren't playing in Kirkland I would build one tonight!
I am still hoping we can play on Tuesday night in Kirkland. But for now I'll be content getting my but kicked in the Wednesday night game.

Actually, Jonathan and I were there and were talking to Bill about the
idea before he went "on stage". We asked him if he'd be ok with storing
the goals only, and he said that'd be great by him. Store hours and
such would have to be worked out, but otherwise he was fine with it.
Didn't talk to him about renting boats though, although that's a good
idea too.
I'd be more then willing to talk to Bill to finalize arrangements, but
are we absolutely sure we want to move? This would probably mean
no lights in the winter (or at least nothing better then what we have
now at UW, not that we're playing right now anyway). We would be able
to be rid of the need for a key to the WAC all the time...
Scott how are those goals coming? Maybe we could keep the old ones at
the WAC and the new ones (if you're willing Scott) at SRK...

| A week or two ago, Seattle Raft & Kayak had it's pre-grand opening. In
| addition to showing some video premiers they asked for the communities ideas
| for how to best utilize the store. They have a waterfront store on the
| north side of Magnuson Park in Sandpoint.
|
| Bill, the owner, gave an example that a regular polo game could be set up in
| front of their shop. Now, I don't know what he had in mind, but I can
| imagine the shop buying a set of plastic polo boats and renting them out for
| a couple a dollars an evening and possibly even storing the goals. I'm just
| theorizing here, but if anyone would like to talk to SRK about this
| possibility, I've included Bill's contact info below.
