I agree but the last time I mentioned this I was told if I didn't like
it I could remove my self from the list. Maybe someone has a vested
interest in send spam.

Yahoo groups work ok but spam still gets through but I don't thinks its
this bad. Either way though we cant have two list running.

Where has Scott W been? Dale?

Did you guys play last week? Do you have a game for tomorrow?

I am able to play any night (except Wednesday) in Kirkland.

I can even play during the day at the UW on the weekends with advanced
notice.

Jeff

Subject: [ukc-polo] Posting restrictions?

The spam to this list has gotten to the point where action must be
taken. We recently changed other UKC lists to accept messages only from
registered list members, which has stopped the spam. I would like to do
the same to this list. Imposing this restriction would mean that you
could only post a message to the list from the email address you used to
register, and that people who are not on the list could not post (but
they don't get our messages anyway?).

Does anybody have reasons not to restrict list postings?

Scott
