[ukc-polo] Polo Game Tuesday

The position of the kayak club is that our primary interests are in 
white water and sea kayaking.  Kayak polo is something our members can 
participate in to improve their boat handling skills, but not a focus of 
our organization.  We have limited financial resources, and prefer to 
focus those on equipment for WW and sea (plus the associated insurance, 
etc).  I have gotten club approval to buy some helmet masks and pad some 
paddle blades to address major safety concerns, but polo boats are too 
expensive.  If you ever come across a sweatheart deal on a polo boat, 
let me know and put it up on the club radar screen, but I think it is 
unlikely that anything will happen.

That said, is there interest for games (regular or occasional) at the 
UW, or have you moved on to less green water?
