I got this from the US Kayak Polo Committee. If you are interested in being
our region's national representative, please feel free to respond to Angela
or send me an email and I'll forward it on.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric. I'm writing on behalf of USACK. The US Polo Committee is looking
for a kayak polo representative from your region (Region #2), which covers
the following states: Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, N. Dakota,
Oregon, S. Dakota, Washington, Wyoming.

Involvement means attending committee meetings (not more than once a month,
via phone), reporting back to the committee the activities of your club and
your region, and voting on kayak polo decisions for the country. This
should not involve much time: there are very few clubs in your region that
we know of - only yours and one in Colorado - but perhaps you are aware of
others.

Please let me know if you would be interested in this position, or know of
someone who might be. Although the Committee would have to vote on any
representative for this position, currently there is not another name in th!
e runnig for Region #2.

Another option is to take an 'observer' post. You would still attend
meetings via phone, but would not have a vote in committee decisions.
Either way, this is a good chance to get your club and its members more
involved in the national and international scene of kayak polo. If you are
not interested in either position, but know of another who might be, please
forward this e-mail to that person.

I look forward to hearing from you either way. Thanks much.

Angela Killian

President, US Canoe Polo Committee

Polo Region #4 Representative
