For those of you who are interested, there will be some winter polo
games at a pool in Tukwilla. Read below for info about getting in on
the games:

If there is enough interest, I imagine it would be possible to organize
a "club trip" from the WAC with carpools and boats.

Hello all,

Well, start passing the word. We are going to try running polo sessions at
the Tukwila Pool starting December 2 from 9-11. The goal is to play the
first and third Saturday mornings each month through April (or May).

All ages, genders and abilities are welcome. Please bring your white water
boats (with some foam ducked taped to the front), helmets, pfds and paddles.
There is a small number of extra polo pfds and helmets available for use.

Each two hour pool session will cost only $8.00 and you will need to join
the Washington Kayak Club and the American Canoe Association. This allows us
to have inexpensive use of the pool and be covered by insurance.
I will have membership forms at the pool. WKC annual membership is $35 with
a first time initiation fee of $15. ACA annual membership is $30 (I
believe). Membership forms and waivers can be downloaded from the WKC
website at washingtonkayakclub.org.

Please pass this info on to anyone I have missed, i.e. Carlos, Lisa
Johnson....

I will send out another invite from my slightly different yahoo contact
list.

Come to have fun and learn a new dimension of kayaking.

Thanks,
Dave
