Dear Historians,
Please see this opportunity to volunteer below. Applications are due tomorrow!
"Become an ambassador for the U.S. - Korea Summer English Scholars program this summer.
FIUTS (The Foundation for International Understanding Through Students) is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting international understanding and community. As a center of international culture that links campus with community, FIUTS programs create a community of international and American students, members of the local community, and alumni around the world.
We are currently looking to recruit student ambassadors for the U.S. - Korea Summer English Scholars program. Ambassadors will contribute to the program as peer mentors, cultural liaisons, student leaders, and friends. Ambassadors are essential to this program, and by becoming one you will learn new skills, build your resume, and make international friends.
This program will run from July 13th to August 5th. The goal of this program is to help undergraduate students from Korea improve their English skills and experience U.S. culture.
To become a student ambassador, apply at https://fiuts.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/component/jsfsubmit/38
by July 1st. All Seattle-area university students are eligible to apply. More information about this program can be found at https://www.fiuts.org/uskorea-english-scholars. Orientation for ambassadors will be held on July 5th.
Please contact our Educations Programs Coordinator, Jason Evans, at jason at fiuts.org<mailto:jason at fiuts.org> if you have any questions."
I have also attached a flyer that can be used as additional advertisement.
Thank you,
Tate Jung (she/her)
