In this workshop, attendees will be introduced to the Python programming language as a tool to aid in their qualitative humanities work. Together, we will learn how to read and make use of Python code to perform repetitive tasks and free ourselves to do the meaningfully human parts of our research. Attendees will leave the workshop with tools to sort Twitter tweets by tone, create random project groups from lists of names, and resources for further learning. No prior technological experience is assumed -- this is a workshop for everybody!
