[Histmaj] Information sessions for the WA State Legislative Internship - Oct 12th & 13th

The Washington State Legislative Internship program is offered every 
winter. It is an opportunity for juniors and seniors in all majors to 
work in Olympia as staff for members of the Washington State House of 
Representatives or Senate. Admission is competitive drawing from all of 
the four-year schools in the state of Washington. No political 
experience is required, but strong writing and good people skills are 
important.

This year's priority applicationdeadline is Wednesday, October 19th, and 
the final deadline is Sunday, October 23rd. Additional information about

UW students who are selected register for 15 credits of POL S 497.

Representatives of the programwill be on campus on October 13^th  and 
14^th  to conduct information sessions. All sessions are on the ground 
floor of Gowen Hall in Room 1A. Stop by anytime during the sessions to 
find out more about this amazing internship program.
