Hello Historians!

Feeling nervous about the next steps after finishing college?  Do you need an opportunity to workshop application materials?  Are you worried you will have to live in your parent's basement until you are 50?  Well, History Fellows may be just the thing for you!

The History Fellows Program is a professionalization and career preparation program for undergraduate students interested in non-academic careers.  In Spring 2023 it will be a 2 credit class (CR/NC), meeting once a week.  The meeting time is still to be pinned down, but it is most likely going to be either Wednesday or Thursday for one hour, some time between 2:00PM and 4:00PM.

In collaboration with the University of Washington's Career & Internship Center, the program helps students workshop their next steps, teaching how to write strong résumés, enhance interview skills, and build networks through personal meetings and social media. The program helps students find internships and jobs in local businesses and organizations, exposing students to the dynamics and demands of fields that interest them. Fellows will emerge more confident in themselves and more prepared for the challenges that await them in their career endeavors.
