Historians-
Friends of Minidoka is the philanthropic partner to Minidoka National Historic Site, a confinement camp that held over 13,000 individuals of Japanese ancestry during World War II, now managed by the National Park Service. Many Japanese Americans incarcerated at Minidoka, as you may know, lived in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska before their incarceration.
As part of a grant, we are seeking an undergraduate student to create an online exhibition related to Minidoka's history. This position would also be paid. For more information, please see the attached documents, and please feel free to send to any students or professional contacts that might be interested! If you have any questions, you can reach out to myself at camille at minidoka.org<mailto:camille at minidoka.org> or to Robyn Achilles, Friends of Minidoka's Executive Director, at robyn at minidoka.org<mailto:robyn at minidoka.org>.
Best,
Camille
