The Daily newspaper is hiring new copy editors this fall! This is a paid, part-time, and on-campus job opportunity open to all UW students.


About the job: As a copy editor, you will work for the Copy Desk at The Daily and read and edit stories for AP Style, grammar, consistency, and factual accuracy. The detail-oriented role of a copy editor protects The Daily's credibility and improves quality across the board.

More information:
·  Familiarity with AP Style is desired, but not required.
·  Prospective copy editors must demonstrate strong writing and reading comprehension skills.
·  Copy editors typically work two, two-hour shifts per week and earn $20 per shift and an additional $1 per article edited.
