Hello,

My name is Nan, and I am the Bootcamp Lead at gesture and C21. I’m excited to announce that our Fall 2022 Internship Bootcamp application is now open!

The C21 Internship Bootcamp is a 3-week, immersive training program for students to develop professional skills in a real-world setting. This quarter the program will be held from October 17th to November 4th. For the first time ever, the program will be run hybrid with some meetings on Zoom and some held in-person at the gesture office in Condon Hall. That means you will have a chance to meet your CEO, managers, and other interns in-person!

In Bootcamp, you are onboarded with a cohort of intern trainees into gesture—our own C21 training startup—where you will have a manager, work responsibilities, and constant feedback and evaluation. This program is designed to challenge and stretch you because the most important skills and lessons are learned through challenge.

Internship Bootcamp is exclusively for undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences, both majors and pre-majors. Whether you are interested in Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, or Social Sciences, the skills and mindset you learn in Bootcamp can apply to your future career development.

Please use your UW email address to fill out the application. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to secure a spot in the program. Applications will be reviewed until Monday, October 10th at 11:59 PM PDT so submit early if you are interested.

Best,

Nan Huang
